Brief Encounters Board Meeting

Join us for food, drinks, and connection! Learn more about our Board and volunteering as we enjoy bubbles (sparkling water and wine) and good eats. *Please no children*

Event will be held on the West side at the home of one of our board members. Please email newsletter@briefencounters.org for address. No need to bring anything but yourself! We'll eat and socialize for the first half and then move into our casual meeting around 7:00. Help plan events and be a part of the mission of Brief Encounters: To break the sense of isolation surrounding pregnancy and infant loss.

Your board plans to meet in-person once per quarter moving forward. We have missed the connection that comes with being together and we hope you will join us.

This need is urgent. Please recall: We are approaching a state of crisis. Your board has been running with half of the board positions empty for over a year now. We have 5 positions that need to be filled. We cannot continue to function with the few board members we have taking on multiple roles and becoming stretched beyond their limits. We need more people to share the work. This organization runs on love and support of volunteers, and we are grateful to those who are giving their time to help. But despite these efforts, we are not able to meet the organization's needs and we are falling short. Without people giving their time and care to Brief Encounters, there is no Brief Encounters. If we cannot fill the five empty positions by October 10, we will re-evaluate what services we can provide.
